Ms. Whitney from the Cornell Cooperative Extension visited Kernan Elementary today to teach students about dairy and the differences between traditional milk and plant-based alternatives. Students compared four varieties: whole milk, skim milk, almond milk and oat milk. They examined their ingredients, consistency, smell and taste. They recorded their observations, noting similarities and differences among each option.
